DIO's Humour
We never really see DIO outright joke around, but it’s clear based on how he carries himself that he’s not a cold, deathly serious person - his life is full of amusement and games and he likes to enjoy it. They are cruel games, of course.
I think making people afraid of him without outright using aggression amuses him a lot - the prime example being him moving Polnareff down the stairs and then watching his reaction. He definitely seems to think mind games are fun, especially if the result is fear and confusion. If I had to make a guess based on what we see, I’d say his sense of humour is essentially “It’s funny how ignorant and fearful these lesser beings are. I will proceed to watch them stress and struggle until I no longer feel like it.” - Basically, he’s like a cat, he likes to toy with his prey.
I think one of the best examples of what DIO finds funny aside from the cruel mind games and making others scared, is in Phantom Blood when Jonathan & CO first meet him as a vampire post-mansion burning. This is the face he makes when Jonathan and Zeppeli are horrified at his deeds;

The gesture he makes with his hand seems particularly mocking and in my opinion, he clearly thinks this situation and their horror, and comparing humans to bread, is very funny.
This is technically also a mind game but with the additional steps of making an absurd comparison. By saying he views humans as equal to bread, he unsettles his opponents even more, which then leads right back into him liking to watch others be stressed and horrified by him.
We know DIO loves being the object of other people’s admiration, but he also greatly enjoys being the source of their horror. This is fun for him - watching others react in awe, be it negative and positive. That puts him above others.
Also, he also told Pucci he’s “allergic to sunlight” which he very obviously knew sounded stupid since it was part of a test, and he probably thought that shit was funny too tbh.
